KISS or "Keep it simple, stupid" is a principle that has long been around in software. If I were marooned on a software development desert island and was allowed only one principle KISS would be it. But forget about software for a moment, keeping things simple is one of the secrets of life. And this is exactly why I'd like to give the Antstand a mention. In my office I have a perfectly adjusted 27" monitor, but on the road (i.e. co-working spaces) I'm hunched over the laptop. Any significant length of time and I get neck pain from looking down at the laptop screen and wrist pain from the keyboard. The Antstand solves the former with a beautifully simple solution - 3 pieces of flat bamboo slot together to produce a gorgeous looking stand. Takes seconds to put together or pull apart and slides into my laptop sleeve for transport. Recommended.
EDIT: they're now on Kickstarter!!
